2012 was the starting year of the EFLA Student and Young Professional Contest where students from all over Europe submited over 100 projects across 3 groups. Judged by academics and 5 international professionals it is a new award which recognises fresh, emerging ability of Landscape Architecture. Each of the endeavors reflected and responded to a varied and fascinating selection of challenges and problems that face us. Whilst very distinct, each of the projects were shared common themes which place value on the significance of responding to the unique needs of local communities and thoughtful, responsive. Congratulations to the winners of every class, but also to all of the entrants who submitted highly professional entries.
